I'm just finishing a commissioned job for my friend Roberta. She's giving her niece a Bridal Shower and ask me to help with the keepsakes, etc.
There will be a center piece of cherry blossoms in a vase with keepsake personalized tags hanging from the branches, stones scattered around the vase with miniature fruit. It should look wonderful.
I did 35+ tags for the event which will take place this coming weekend and will post photos of how it all turned out next week.

Art Doll Busts

I took an art doll bust class at Nancye's Art Dolls
and am enjoying myself trying out the different characters and sampling the clays that are available. So far I tried Paper Clay, which is air dried:

Then I went to Sculpty flesh tone...

To Sculpty white which is very soft....

It seems that this is my new thing now.

So?...what else is new? ;o)

Madam Antionette Pulisi

Madame Antionette Pulisi
This is a doll bust I just finished on Nancye's Art Dolls,
She is an aging stage actress from the 60-70's and still holding on to her elegance.

When I went to post my photo to share I noticed on the home main page I was the featured artist interview. I was so excited. It's the first time I've been featured.

More new work for Ten Women

"Heart felt love"
"4 Wishes"
"Abundantly blessed"

This is "simplify"

I had a great spurt of creativity and got busy finishing layouts that I started over the past month. I ended up taking 6 new pieces to the gallery yesterday. It looks fresh and I'm happy with the new pieces.

New work for Ten Women

"Pomegranate" is a mixed media collage portrait on wood. This painting was inspired by an artist, Monica Zuniga, whom I admire very much.

"Holds the Key" is a mixed media collage on a small canvas 8x8".
