Merry Christmas!

This year for the Christmas window at Ten Women Venice we all did ball ornaments in our own individual medium.  I made about 20+ mixed media balls in a variety of textures, etc. but was working a bit too hard and didn't have a chance to photograph any of them before I had to bring them into the gallery.

However, as the window ornaments sold we all had to create more to fill in.  These were the last ones I created inspired by my friend, Denise Bledsoe, a fabulous doll artist and who is also one of the artists at the gallery.  They were lots of fun to create since I don't work on my art dolls too often anymore.

Wishing you all a joyous holiday and a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year...God bless you.

In gratitude always for your support and wonderful comments throughout the year.  Much love, Renee

About 2 years ago I submitted one of my mosaic collages to be published for a challenge in Somerset Studios.  I was accepted and to my surprise they published my piece again in Artist Cafe.   I got a thrill to see my work published again.  I should really submit and try to get published more often...so much to do, so little time.

Here are a few current one I did for the gallery.  Some photos are before framing.  It's just easier to take the photos without the glass.
There is an infinite variety of ways to create these mosaic collage.  All I do is start with a word...
