Oscar the Monster

Oscar the Monster
I started Oscar in Jesse Reno's class at Artful Journey in February.  Once Oscar showed up in the painting I knew I wanted to give him to my grandson, James for his 9th birthday May 21st, so I had to finished him.  Lots of touch ups and added elements to make things pop here and there.
The only thing left to do now is to hang a tag off the right side of the wire which will be used for hanging with his name and the short story about who he is.  Oscar the Monster captures children when they do naughty things and turns the clock back to give them a chance to do the right thing and see the difference in the results of their choices.
I'm very pleased with the finished results and to be able to give my grandson something I created for him.

I saw Oscar at AN ARTFUL JOURNEY, it was one of my favorite pieces that I saw. I'm glad you are happy with it, and I'm sure your grandson will love it.

your monster reminds me of the geckos that live in my house - i wonder if they would mind if i gave then a make-over?
