Well, here she is in all her glory, the largest painting I've ever created. She has no title yet as I need to live with her awhile and let her speak to me. I'm also feeling like journaling in pencil on the right side for some spiritual texture but don't know that yet either. So therefore, she may not be done....and I may post her again.
I do love the lace that I added to bring in a collage element. I felt she needed balance since her hair was so heavy and the flower needed grounding. I'm not really crazy about the flower which has many layers of paint. I just didn't really know how to paint a flower with no inspiration so this one is completely made up.
Isn't this fun!
Can't wait to display her in the window Ten Women on Montana. She'll definitely make a statement.
